College of Professional and Continuing Education (CPCE) was founded in 2002 as a self-financed college of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). CPCE oversees the operation and development of its two educational units, namely Hong Kong Community College (HKCC) and School of Professional Education and Executive Development (SPEED), with the aim of fostering synergy in providing quality education.

Project Assistant (Ref. 261002-01)

[Appointment period: thirteen months]


Duties


The appointee will assist the Project Coordinator of The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust donated project “Online-offline School-community Integrated Model for Youth Mental Wellness - LevelMind@JC at Schools”. He/She will be required to:


(a) assist in planning and organising workshops, site visits, tours and other related events;

(b) prepare promotional materials and send out invitations to related parties;

(c) coordinate with agencies, such as design companies and video production houses;

(d) prepare publication materials, both printed and online;

(e) provide all-round administrative support and in-house coordination of the project, and

(f) perform any other duties as assigned.


Qualifications


Applicants should have:


(a) an honours degree or an equivalent qualification, preferably in Design or related disciplines;

(b) strong communication and interpersonal skills;

(c) ability to work independently and complete multiple tasks under tight timelines;

(d) a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, and

(e) good computer knowledge of MS Office applications and design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
