COLLEGE OF PROFESSIONAL AND CONTINUING EDUCATION
College of Professional and Continuing Education (CPCE) was founded in 2002 as a self-financed college of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). CPCE oversees the operation and development of its two educational units, namely Hong Kong Community College (HKCC) and School of Professional Education and Executive Development (SPEED), with the aim of fostering synergy in providing quality education.

CPCE Marketing and Communications Office
Marketing and Communications Officer / Assistant Marketing and Communications Officer (Ref. 260911-01)
Duties
The appointee will be required to:
(a) provide support for the planning and execution of activities related to marketing and student admission, branding, corporate communications and major college events;
(b) manage and update the College’s websites;
(c) contribute to the development and production of promotional and advertising materials;
(d) coordinate procurement exercises, support contract administration and vendor management, in accordance with established procedures;
(e) assist in monitoring project timelines, deliverables and service performance of contractors and suppliers;
(f) assist in office administration duties;
(g) supervise junior staff;
(h) liaise with departments and units of PolyU and CPCE, and outside service vendors, and
(i) perform any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Applicants should have:
(a) a recognised degree;
(b) at least five years of solid relevant experience;
(c) excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
(d) excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
(e) good computing skills;
(f) basic knowledge of HTML;
(g) an eye for detail, and
(h) passion for quality work.
Applicants with less experience will be considered for the post of Assistant Marketing and Communications Officer.
A good understanding of the post-secondary education scene in Hong Kong, particularly the self-financed sector, will be an advantage. Priority will be given to those who are not only experienced in administrative work but also adept at text-based tasks.
Shortlisted candidates may be invited to sit for a written test.
Conditions of Service
An attractive remuneration package will be offered. Initial appointment will be made on a two-year contract. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
