College of Professional and Continuing Education (CPCE) was founded in 2002 as a self-financed college of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). CPCE oversees the operation and development of its two educational units, namely Hong Kong Community College (HKCC) and School of Professional Education and Executive Development (SPEED), with the aim of fostering synergy in providing quality education.

Administrative Assistant I/II (Ref. 260731-02)
Duties
The appointee will be required to:
(a) provide clerical support in programme administration and student-related services;
(b) provide counter services and answer telephone enquiries;
(c) assist in various functions, events and projects;
(d) liaise with internal staff, departments of PolyU and other educational/professional organisations, and
(e) perform any other duties as assigned.
The appointee will be required to work on shift duties in evenings on weekdays and/or weekends.
Qualifications
Applicants should have:
(a) at least Grade E/Level 2 or equivalent in five subjects in HKCEE or HKDSEE including English Language (at least Grade C if Syllabus A), Chinese Language and Mathematics;
(b) five years of clerical working experience;
(c) good communication and interpersonal skills;
(d) proficiency in English and Chinese including Putonghua, and
(e) a good command of Word, Chinese Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Applicants with higher qualifications but less experience will also be considered.
Conditions of Service
An attractive remuneration package will be offered. Initial appointment will be made on a two-year contract.
Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
