College of Professional and Continuing Education (CPCE) was founded in 2002 as a self-financed college of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). CPCE oversees the operation and development of its two educational units, namely Hong Kong Community College (HKCC) and School of Professional Education and Executive Development (SPEED), with the aim of fostering synergy in providing quality education.

Research Assistant (Ref. 260710-01)
[Appointment period: twelve months, with possibility of extension]
Duties
The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator in the Research Grants Council (RGC) funded project - “A Real-time Collaborative Multi-agent System for High-frequency Nowcasting of Tourism Demand in Hong Kong”. He/She will be required to:
(a) conduct literature review, data collection and analysis;
(b) contribute to wider research project development and implementation;
(c) prepare regular reports for the Research Project Team, and
(d) perform any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Applicants should have:
(a) an honours degree or an equivalent qualification, preferably in Economics, Statistics, Data Science or related disciplines;
(b) a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, and
(c) strong communication and interpersonal skills.
