COLLEGE OF PROFESSIONAL AND CONTINUING EDUCATION


College of Professional and Continuing Education (CPCE) was founded in 2002 as a self-financed college of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). CPCE oversees the operation and development of its two educational units, namely Hong Kong Community College (HKCC) and School of Professional Education and Executive Development (SPEED), with the aim of fostering synergy in providing quality education.

Administrative Assistant I/II (part-time) (two posts) (Ref. 260703-02)

[Appointment period:twelve months, with possibility of extension]


Duties


The appointees will be required to:


(a) provide counter service and answer telephone enquiries;

(b) provide clerical support for student development activities and related affairs;

(c) provide logistics support for various functions and events;

(d) assist in the management of various facilities, and

(e) perform any other duties as assigned.


The appointees will be required to work on Saturday mornings and afternoons, as well as on two to three weekday mornings or afternoons per week, with each session lasting for four to five hours.


Qualifications


Applicants should have:


(a) at least Grade E/Level 2 or equivalent in five subjects in HKCEE or HKDSEE, including English Language (at least Grade C if Syllabus A), Chinese Language, and Mathematics;

(b) five years of clerical working experience;

(c) proficiency in English and Chinese, including Putonghua, and

(d) a good command of MS Office tools and Chinese word processing.


Applicants with higher qualifications but less experience will also be considered.

An attractive remuneration rate will be offered.
