COLLEGE OF PROFESSIONAL AND CONTINUING EDUCATION


College of Professional and Continuing Education (CPCE) was founded in 2002 as a self-financed college of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). CPCE oversees the operation and development of its two educational units, namely Hong Kong Community College (HKCC) and School of Professional Education and Executive Development (SPEED), with the aim of fostering synergy in providing quality education.

Project Assistant (Ref. 260703-01)

[Appointment period: ten months]


Duties


The appointee will assist the Project Coordinator in the project funded by the Logistics Promotion Funding Scheme - “Promoting Logistics Development Through Carnival Fun Days”. He/She will be required to:


(a) assist in planning, organising, and implementing project activities;

(b) develop marketing and promotional materials, and manage project correspondence;

(c) liaise with logistics associations, as well as primary and secondary schools;

(d) provide logistical support for project events;

(e) prepare reports and other project-related documents;

(f) provide regular updates to the project implementation and evaluation teams;

(g) perform general administrative duties and collaborate with the project implementation and evaluation teams, and

(h) perform any other duties as assigned.


The appointee will be required to work on weekends.


Qualifications


Applicants should have:


(a) an honours degree or an equivalent qualification, preferably in Business Management or related disciplines;

(b) a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese;

(c) proficiency in MS Office tools and Chinese word processing;

(d) the ability to work independently and complete multiple tasks under tight timelines, and

(e) a positive work attitude, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
