College of Professional and Continuing Education (CPCE) was founded in 2002 as a self-financed college of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). CPCE oversees the operation and development of its two educational units, namely Hong Kong Community College (HKCC) and School of Professional Education and Executive Development (SPEED), with the aim of fostering synergy in providing quality education.

Information Technology Officer (E-learning) (Ref. 260626-02)
Duties
The appointee will be required to:
(a) design, develop, implement and maintain web-based and low-code applications to support academic and administrative operations of the College;
(b) develop and enhance digital workflow solutions, online forms, approval processes and self-service applications using modern application development platforms;
(c) participate in the implementation, maintenance and enhancement of enterprise systems, including student services, content management systems and internal portals;
(d) support the adoption of AI-enabled productivity tools and workflow automation solutions, where appropriate, and
(e) perform any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Applicants should have:
(a) a recognised degree in Information Technology, Computing Studies, Business Information Technology or a related discipline;
(b) five years of relevant post-qualification experience;
(c) hands-on experience in low-code development platforms, preferably OutSystems, and
(d) good knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript, SQL, and web technologies.
Experience in higher education institutions, content management system or AI-related applications would be an advantage.
Shortlisted candidates may be invited to sit for a written test.
Conditions of Service
An attractive remuneration package will be offered. Initial appointment will be made on a two-year contract. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
