College of Professional and Continuing Education (CPCE) was founded in 2002 as a self-financed college of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). CPCE oversees the operation and development of its two educational units, namely Hong Kong Community College (HKCC) and School of Professional Education and Executive Development (SPEED), with the aim of fostering synergy in providing quality education.

Human Resources Management / Investment and Wealth Management / Accounting and Finance / Hospitality and Tourism Management / Artificial Intelligence in Business / Digital Business, E-commerce and Social Media Marketing / ESG Compliance / ESG Management / Event Management / Green Business / Innovation and Entrepreneurship / Data Analytics


Duties


The appointees will be required to:


(a) undertake teaching at postgraduate, undergraduate and/or sub-degree levels;

(b) contribute to academic leadership in teaching related activities;

(c) contribute to quality assurance, administration, development and promotion of programmes;

(d) conduct research and scholarly activities;

(e) liaise with industries, professional bodies and public organisations, and

(f) perform any other duties as assigned.


The appointees may be required to take up assignments and work outside Hong Kong occasionally.


Qualifications


Applicants should have:


(a) a doctoral degree in related disciplines;

(b) substantial years of teaching, research/consultancy and/or industrial experience;

(c) excellent teaching performance;

(d) a good record of research, and scholarly work or professional engagement;

(e) good connections with industries, professional bodies and public organisations;

(f) proficiency in English, and

(g) good communication and leadership skills.


Applicants with relevant professional qualifications will be an advantage.


Applicants with less teaching, research/consultancy and/or industrial experience will be considered for the post of Lecturer.


Conditions of Service


An attractive remuneration package will be offered. Initial appointment will be made on a two-year contract. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
