College of Professional and Continuing Education (CPCE) was founded in 2002 as a self-financed college of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). CPCE oversees the operation and development of its two educational units, namely Hong Kong Community College (HKCC) and School of Professional Education and Executive Development (SPEED), with the aim of fostering synergy in providing quality education.

Project Development Officer (Ref. 260430-02)


Duties


The appointee will be required to:


(a) provide support to academic staff in pursuit of research funding from both the public and private sectors;

(b) assist units in research project development, and preparing, writing and editing research

proposals;

(c) administer and monitor the progress of research projects undertaken by CPCE and its

units, and

(d) perform any other duties as assigned.


Qualifications


Applicants should have:


(a) a master’s degree in Health or Life Sciences;

(b) at least five years of relevant experience;

(c) a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua being an advantage;

(d) good communication and interpersonal skills, and

(e) good computing skills;


Shortlisted candidates may be invited to sit for a written test.


Conditions of Service


An attractive remuneration package will be offered. Initial appointment will be made on a two-year contract. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
