College of Professional and Continuing Education (CPCE) was founded in 2002 as a self-financed college of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). CPCE oversees the operation and development of its two educational units, namely Hong Kong Community College (HKCC) and School of Professional Education and Executive Development (SPEED), with the aim of fostering synergy in providing quality education.

Career Development Officer (Ref. 260424-06)

[Appointment period: twelve months]


Duties


The appointee will be required to:


(a) contribute to the planning and implementation of activities related to student employability;

(b) liaise with and establish good relationships with local and overseas business partners, and participate in industry collaborations such as recruitment talks and job referrals;

(c) provide all-round support to students and fresh graduates, including but not limited to career advisory services and job referrals, and

(d) perform any other duties as assigned.


The appointee will be required to work on shift duties.


Qualifications


Applicants should possess:

(a) a good honours degree, preferably in Business, Marketing or related disciplines;

(b) at least five years of relevant experience preferably in recruitment industry and event management;

(c) proficiency in English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua;

(d) exc ellent communication and interpersonal skills;

(e)outgoing and positive attributes, as well as a customer-oriented mindset and strong team spirit, and

(f) good computer knowledge of MS Office applications.


Shortlisted candidates may be invited to sit for a written test.
