College of Professional and Continuing Education (CPCE) was founded in 2002 as a self-financed college of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). CPCE oversees the operation and development of its two educational units, namely Hong Kong Community College (HKCC) and School of Professional Education and Executive Development (SPEED), with the aim of fostering synergy in providing quality education.

Research Assistant (Ref. 260424-01)

[Appointment period: six months]


Duties


The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator in the Research Grants Council (RGC) funded project - “Fostering Student Feedback Literacy Through A Technology-Mediated Multimodal Platform: A Teacher-Student Collaborative Approach”. He/She will be required to:


(a) assist the project team with writing computer programming for the technology-mediated multimodal platform and related tasks;

(b) support the project team in complying with the project objectives, scope, timetable, and the expected deliverables;

(c) contribute to wider research project development and implementation, and

(d) perform any other duties as assigned.


Qualifications


Applicants should have:


(a) an honours degree or an equivalent qualification;

(b) the ability to work independently, and

(c) the ability to complete multiple tasks under tight timelines.
