College of Professional and Continuing Education (CPCE) was founded in 2002 as a self-financed college of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). CPCE oversees the operation and development of its two educational units, namely Hong Kong Community College (HKCC) and School of Professional Education and Executive Development (SPEED), with the aim of fostering synergy in providing quality education.

Division of Science, Engineering and Health Studies
Research Assistant (Ref. 260402-02)
[Appointment period: twelve months, with possibility of extension]
Duties
The appointee will assist the Director of the Research Centre for Advanced Design, Materials and Manufacturing Technologies (RCADMM). He/She will be required to:
(a) be responsible for the planning and organisation of the related events of projects such as workshops, talks, exhibitions and tours, etc.;
(b) conduct study and research topics for the production of educational materials;
(c) coordinate and manage resource utilisation, budgeting and procurement of projects;
(d) prepare regular reports, and
(e) perform any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Applicants should have:
(a) an honours degree or an equivalent qualification;
(b) good organisational and analytical skills;
(c) strong communication and interpersonal skills;
(d) ability to work independently and complete multiple tasks under tight timelines, and
(e) a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
